Azure Compliance ControlsMicrosoft Defender for Cloud

Azure subscriptions should have Microsoft Defender for App Service enabled

Azure Defender for App Service leverages the scale of the cloud, and the visibility that Azure has as a cloud provider, to monitor for common web app attacks.

What this control checks

This control is enforced by checking whether Microsoft Defender for App Service is turned on for the Azure subscription. A subscription where the plan is not enabled does not meet the control.
