End-User License Agreement (EULA)

This End-User License Agreement (EULA) governs your access to and use of Compliance.tf’s compliance-ready Terraform modules. By using these modules, you agree to the terms outlined below.

TL;DR
  • Modules are proprietary: Compliance.tf modules are not open-source or licensed under MIT and other common open-source licenses.
  • Usage scope: Modules are allowed only in Terraform projects associated with specified AWS accounts where the license was purchased.
  • Updates: Active licenses are required to receive updates and improvements.
  • Prohibited actions: Modules may not be resold or used for unauthorized purposes.

License Grant and Usage Terms

Compliance.tf grants you a perpetual license to use Terraform modules retrieved with valid authorization. This means you may use and distribute these modules as part of your Terraform projects indefinitely, provided your usage adheres to this agreement. Modifications are permitted, and you may integrate the modules into your projects scoped to AWS accounts under your license. However, the license strictly prohibits reselling or repurposing the modules outside the described terms.

Access and Updates

Access to Compliance.tf’s private registry is contingent on maintaining a valid license. While your license is active, you’ll receive updates and improvements to the modules. If your license expires, access to the private registry and updates will cease, though you may continue using previously retrieved modules under the perpetual license.
